Cyne slowly rose to his knees, then cautiously stood on his two feet. After regaining his balance, he approached the girl. He held one hand behind him, in case he needed to grab his dagger- you could never know with a stranger, especially if you are royalty. Secretively, he grasped the handle of his dagger with one hand and rested his other on the tree, almost pinning the girl down. "What did you do to me?" He rasped, breathing over her neck.
Megan looked at the horse, then back at the man. She ate one last bite of food, then walked over to the horse and knelt down by it, looking for the major wound. She found it and did it what she did with the man. Animals were easier than humans in some ways and harder in others. She could tell the horse didn't recognize her.
It was hard, to say the least. Megan had just healed someone who was dying, And now she had to do it again, with an animal that was worse off that the man had been. She felt her energy draining out of her quickly. The little bit of food she had just eaten had not been enough for her to do this.
Megan changed her approach. She had been aiming to get the horse completely healed, but she wouldn't be able to do that. Instead she healed him enough that he would live, but he definitely wouldn't be 100%.
She pushed herself as far as she would go, then collapsed onto the ground. "It's all I can do," she said quietly.
Megan nodded a your welcome. She finally found the strength to sit up. But she knew she wouldn't be able to walk over to where she had been and get her food and water. "Could – could you give me my bag, please?" she asked the man.
