    it's okie, lol )

Cyne slowly rose to his knees, then cautiously stood on his two feet. After regaining his balance, he approached the girl. He held one hand behind him, in case he needed to grab his dagger- you could never know with a stranger, especially if you are royalty. Secretively, he grasped the handle of his dagger with one hand and rested his other on the tree, almost pinning the girl down. "What did you do to me?" He rasped, breathing over her neck.

(Now I'm trying to figure out where I got Melissa from. I never even cared much for the name.)

"I stopped the bleeding and healed your wounds," Megan said. "That's all I did." She looked away from him. He was making her nervous by standing over her like that.

i didn't even realize, oh my goodness. it's alright though. )

"Tell me your name," Cyne demanded from the girl. He wanted to know everything, but feared that he would harm this magical mystery maiden.

(At least I switched it before she introduced herself lol. I seem to do that in a lot of rps, I accidentally switch characters or names, or something like that.)

"Megan," she said. She wondered what he was going to do. Would he let her go or would he hurt her?

"Megan..." Cyne trailed off. He loosened his grip and looked deeply into the girl's eyes.

Megan looked up and into his eyes. He might kill her, she didn't know. She wasn't going to play the I Saved Your Life Card, though.

In this moment, Cyne decided that he would not reveal his identity. It was safer for her to think he was only a commoner.

He looked behind him and to his poor horse. Oaken was alive, but barely. "Save my horse and then I'll owe my life to you. His is much more important than my own."

Megan looked at the horse, then back at the man. She ate one last bite of food, then walked over to the horse and knelt down by it, looking for the major wound. She found it and did it what she did with the man. Animals were easier than humans in some ways and harder in others. She could tell the horse didn't recognize her.

Cyne stood directly behind Megan. If she hurt his dear horse, she was as good as dead. He never released his grip of the dagger handle, but he slowly began to trust the magical being.

It was hard, to say the least. Megan had just healed someone who was dying, And now she had to do it again, with an animal that was worse off that the man had been. She felt her energy draining out of her quickly. The little bit of food she had just eaten had not been enough for her to do this.
Megan changed her approach. She had been aiming to get the horse completely healed, but she wouldn't be able to do that. Instead she healed him enough that he would live, but he definitely wouldn't be 100%.
She pushed herself as far as she would go, then collapsed onto the ground. "It's all I can do," she said quietly.

“All you can do? If you can save my life, you can save my horse’s,” Cyne gritted his teeth together and held his dagger tight. He couldn’t trust anyone in this forest.

His eyes widened as his horse rose from the ground, letting out a soft whine.

Megan just laid there on the ground completely exhausted. "He will live," she said just as quietly as before, "But he is weak and will need much care."

Cyne approached his horse and stroked his soft mane. He couldn’t believe that Megan had these amazing abilities.

Cyne nodded at her, “Thank you, lady,” he said politely. He wasn’t used to addressing people this way. It was always reverse, but if she found that he was the prince, bad things would happen.

Megan nodded a your welcome. She finally found the strength to sit up. But she knew she wouldn't be able to walk over to where she had been and get her food and water. "Could – could you give me my bag, please?" she asked the man.

Cyne nodded gently and carefully picked up her bag. It smelled strange to him, but he couldn’t identify the scent. He handed it to Megan with a concerned look on his face.
