April walked to the other side of her house and unlocked the door to the cellar. She walked down and brought up her dad's tandem bike. She said to Callyn "We can use this to get to the memorial. Here's a helmet."
Callyn couldn't help but laugh. "I had no idea you had this," she said. She looked at the helmet. She didn't wear them. But she put it on anyway, because they had to go quick and she didn't want to stall.
April said "This is my dad's. He and mom ride it when we go out on Sundays. But that's for later. Get on." She put on her own helmet and got onto the front of the bike. She asked "You know how to ride one right?"
Kim had his tunes blasting so loudly that it could be heard by those not wearing the headphones. His hair was whipping around his face dramatically as he raced through the wind on the skateboard.
Reese sped up her walking speed a little bit. She was only saved from complete darkness by the streetlights that dotted the sides of the roads every now and then. Reese saw the statue come into view and a figure she assumed was Julius waiting on her.
Julius waved to Reese, walking over to her. "This is crazy," he said, shaking his head. "A 3-am calling to a memorial? I mean, I had this crazy dream about talking mushrooms once, but that doesn't hold a candle to this."
April pedaled with Callyn as quick as possible to get to the memorial quickly. They soon arrived but April was surprised to see another person already there. She parked the bike, looked at the person and asked "Hey, who are you?"
