Vitalus hissed at the dragon again

The dragon kept away, although it shot evil glares at them. They arrived at a tree that branched out into the glorious shape of some sort of palace.

Vitalus looked up at the tree curiously, his wings buzzing

Elytra gasped, her one arm lifting slightly towards her face, not sure what to do.

Vitalus looked at her and chirped

Elytra smiled and patted Vitalus' head. "Nice to have you here, buddy."

Vitalus purred at the head pats

Tetra bumped her head against Elytra's stump for pats. Elytra did her best to pat both.

Vitalus decided to help and patted Tetra

Tetra picked them up, trotting happily towards the tree palace.

Vitalus looked around, his wings twitching calmly

Bizarra stroked the dragon's head. "We're here. This is the home for any escaped experiments. It is our forest. Are you an experiment? Or are you a scientist?"
"Neither," Elytra said. "I'm a trainer. This is Vitalus, my bond. Tetra is sort of my half-bond."
"Oh!" Bizarra said. "I have a bond as well. Gidurri."
She ran her hand down the dragon's long black neck. Tetra growled and kept close to Vitalus and Elytra. -
Vitalus buzzed his wings at Tetra, rubbing her head

Tetra trilled at Vitalus, nuzzling him with her head carefully, so as not to whack him through the trees.
"Lovely," Elytra said in a tone that implied nothing lovely in the slightest. -
Vitalus trilled cheerfully
