Captain hummed in thought, scratching his skull

Katima blinked as the hatchling licked her partial beak.

"What about Skrix?" He asked

Katima smiled as Skrix chirped at the name,his tail wagging.

Captain smiled at him "i guess he likes it

"Yeah,I think he does." Katima said as Skrix started to dart around her,seeming to be happy.

Captain grinned "thats good

Katima trilled softly as Skrix nuzzled into her neck.

Captain looked around and frowned slightly

Katima looked over at him and tilted her head."Is something wrong?" She questioned.

Captain paused for a moment and then shook his head "no, its nothing

Katima slowly nodded her head,a wave of concern managing to be shown on her face.
Skrix slowly went over to Captain,letting out a soft chirp. -
Captain looked at the child, his eyelights flickering for a moment

Skrix chirped again as he tilted his head in curiosity.
