Before we start, goodgirlo would it be possible for you to change your character's age to 16, cause I think it could get awkward if she stays 14.
Alex woke up on a cool, crisp morning in his bedroom to the sounds of his alarm clock going off. He turned it off, rubbed his eyes and then sat up on his bed. He said "I hate Mondays." and got up to get ready for school. He looked at his pet bird, Peri, and as he got some clothes, he gave her some food. Alex then got dressed and walked out of his room to eat some breakfast with his mom.
This part is mostly Prascilla's backstory. The next parts should be shorter.
Prascilla had always known that she wasn't normal, even before her father, a forty-year-old medical physicist at the local hospital, had told her the story when she was 12. In his early twenties, Jamie Ellis had met a beautiful young woman his age named Alena. They had fallen in love and gotten married. At the time, Jamie had no idea of the secret his wife was hiding from him. But several months after Prascilla was born, Alena couldn't stand it anymore. She had unbuttoned the back of her dress and revealed her gorgeous violet wings. Tearfully, she confessed to her husband that she was a fairy, and that the laws of her underground community were strictly against falling in love with humans. But she hadn't been able to resist Jamie. Now, she had realized that she had to return to her fellow fairies. All that she had told Jamie was to take care of their daughter and tell her about her heritage when she was old enough to handle it.
After hearing this story, everything in Prascilla's life had begun to make since. Such as the fact that, despite not having wings, she often flew up into the air when she got emotional. Sometimes when her body temperature was high, sparks would fly out of her fingers and set objects on fire. Other times, when she got cold, her breath would become so icy that she could actually freeze things if she got too close to them. Her father had always homeschooled her, but this year, they had decided that it was time for her to go out into the world and just be a normal teenager. So now Prascilla was trying to start the car so she could drive to her first day of tenth grade. "Have a good time!" her father called after her as she pulled out of the driveway.
(This is still Weirdhead, I have two accounts. I may be one or the other.)
*Cynthia* Cynthia jumped out of bed on Monday morning, grab her clothes, and threw them on. She rushed out of her room, kissing her parents and grabbing her jacket and a bagel of the counter as she ran. She shoved the bagel in her mouth and pulled on her jacket as I she ran. She hopped on the bus and snuggled in the seat. Suddenly, out of the corner of her eye, she spotted Jordan Nickle, most popular guy in the whole school, in the seat across from her. She'd known he lived nearby, but she hadn't known he took her us. "Oh, snap," she muttered, pulling her makeup and a small mirror out of her backpack. She quickly fixed her appearance and tucked her stuff back in her bag.
*Jordan* When they got to the school, Jordan did something he had never done before. He stepped to the side to let Cynthia exit before him and his friends. As he walked, his friend, Toby, bumped into him. "Somebody's got a cruuuush!" he singsonged, and Jordan blushed. "Nah. Just, um, learning to be more polite," Jordan replied. Toby snorted. "Yeah, right. Anyway, we're almost late. Let's go!"
Alex was dropped off at school by his mom on her way to her job. He walked in to get to his locker quickly and grab his books from it. He saw Cynthia come in seeming a little dolled up but tried not to stare at her. He's had a crush on her for a while now and he never could work up the nerve to tell her. He was happy at least that she was his friend, especially considering he was usually too afraid to make any.
Prascilla arrived at school feeling nervous but excited. She found her locker pretty quickly, and her first classes went well. She was beginning to lose the sense of unease she'd had earlier. At lunchtime, a blonde girl in a pink blouse walked up to her. "Hello, I'm Cynthia Jones," she said. "I don't recognize you. Are you new here?"
Prascilla nodded. "I'm Prascilla. Prascilla Ellis."
They talked for a while and exchange phone numbers, then Cynthia saw a tall, muscular boy walk into the cafeteria and squealed in excitement. "I've got to go," she said, walking away. Prascilla didn't mind. She was too excited to have made her first friend.
*Cynthia* She was about to go talk to Jordan when she came up with a better plan. She pushed her way through a crowd of girls around him and found Alex, her best friend. "Alex!" she called. When she reached him, she said, "Alex, will you do me a favor? Um, I may have a crush on Jordan Nickle... and I was wondering if you could befriend him and figure out if he likes me?" she asked hopefully. She saw his mouth drop open slightly without saying anything. "Well?" she asked, afraid of what his answer might be.
*Jordan* Jordan pushed away from the crowd of girls, and grabbed his stuff out of his locker. As he closed the door and turned away, he ran into Toby. "Hey!" Toby said. "Found out from some girl Cynthia Jones knows that she's got a crush on someone, but the girl said she didn't know who." "Cynthia Jones? So that's her name?" Jordan asked, before spacing out, his mind on the girl of his dreams. "Earth to Jordan? We've gotta get to history," Toby said, waving a hand in front of his best friend's face. "What? Oh, um, right," replied Jordan.
(Goodgirl, just a tip, don't control other people's characters like that. No one likes it when you do that.)
Alex was shocked that Cynthia would ask her to make friends with someone he hardly knew and not only that, but a popular guy no less. He thought quickly and said "I-I don't know. I'm not good with making friends. And how do we know he'll give me the time of day. I-I don't think I can do that."
