"No, you're thinking of the guy that killed my mom." Wen had sadness in his eyes "Got me confused with someone else" Get out of my face.. Talkin about moms murder will ya.. Merlin's beard! Hes even hotter up close! He could feel the eyes of others on them as they stood in the courtyard. "Whaddya want?"
-
"Oh," Jared said with a hint of regret. Way to go! Jared thought to himself mockingly. "I'm sorry.." What a terrible subject to talk about. And now people were even staring. What did he want, really? Why did Jared think this was a good idea? He was always super calm and collected, but this kid was already making him lose his cool.. "I think we should duel!" Jared said loudly.
-
"......." Wen was shocked, but he slowly nodded. He shooed Jared to the ceneter, and waited for it to begin.
-
Oh, oh no, what a terrible thing to say. Jared just wanted to make all of the staring stop but he seemed to have attract more attention. He couldn't chicken out of a duel, though, he had a reputation to uphold. A girl stepped out of the crowd. "I'll be the referee," she stated, without even asking for permission. "Round one begins.. now! Wimpley, make your move," she said haughtily. Jared glared at the girl. To anyone watching, it'd seem he was upset for not being able to make the first move, but really he did not enjoy Wenley being called names like that.
-
Wen cracked his neck, then his spell book started levitating from out of his hoodie. He slowly reached outward, and a cloud of purple knives formed out of nowhere. They all turned slowly yet surely towards Jared.
-
Jared laughed at the knives. Normally someone would be scared straight with so many sharp objects pointed at them, but Jared not dared show a weakness. "Don't you know my magic specialty?" Jared asked mockingly. He raised an arm up, twirling around a finger as wind started to pick up around him. He wouldn't create a whole storm, but atleast enough to knock any knives away that came flying in his direction. He couldn't do any specific spells since he didn't have his spellbook.
-
Wen had a blank expression on his face. The knives swirled around Jared, clattering around and colliding with one another. He slowly put away his spell book, then just stood there.
-
Jared watched as Wen put away his spellbook. Was he giving up? Jared smirked, keeping his finger twirled as he walked towards Wen. "Giving up already?" He asked tauntingly. As Jared looked down at him, though, with the wind roaring, some of Wenley's hair grazed his chin. Jared realized how intimate this would be if they were not fighting, with a storm flying around them with them in the center. Jared jumped back quickly, as if he had been burned. The wind stopped suddenly, and knives clattered to the ground around them. What was he thinking? Jared would be blushing if he wasn't so good at hiding his emotions. The girl stepped in again. "What are you doing? You had an open attack! Round two begins.. Now!" The crowd also murmured in confusion at Jared's hesitation.

-
The knives raised, and grew into very lengthly swords. They began to swing and stab at the boy.
-
Jared grunted in annoyance at the stab wounds. He couldn't dare lose a battle to someone like Wen. He was screaming on the inside, but Jared knew that he couldn't show any weakness. He swung the swords away with a powerful force of wind, and started flying them towards Wen in retaliation.
-
A dark swirl appeared around Wen, and right before Jared would strike Wen dissapeared along with the swirl. They both reappeared behind the dazed Jared, and Wen hit him with a large headed hammer. It hit Jared in almost the whole back, and sent him on his hands and knees.
-
Bump
-
Le cough~)
Jared was knocked down roughly by the hammer. He rolled when he fell to the ground, to lessen the force of the fall. He swirled around quickly and kicked Wen in the leg to make him fall as well. Jared's movement distracted him from the flaring pain. Jared could stand a lot of pain, but he definitely couldn't allow another critical hit in if he wanted to win. -
Wen stood up, face to face with Jared, and slapped him. "No! Bad Jared! Bad!" He backed up, and swung his hand into the air. As the ground started to shake, a fog started to form.
