Standing up, I walked with him outside, "So is the beach walking distance"

"Yes. The boardwalk is a few blocks down, and the beach is directly off of it." He walked alongside her.

As we walked something caught my eye, a lampost standing outside the gothic house, with a snake slowly winding upwards. I almost laughed. Sure, I'm definitly not a snake lover but I appreciated their elegance, I grinned, "Ha! Well, look at that. A very attractive lampost"

He nodded. "My first beloved," he said jokingly.

I laughed and covered my eyes, "Go and greet him if you must"

"Him?" He shook his head. "Besides, we only meet on Tuesday nights."

"Oh so its a secret romance", I winked

"It's only a romance on Tuesdays," he replied.

We walked along and soon I could here the sound of the waves, "What's Wednesday then?"

"Today is Wednesday. I'm free." He walked up the five steps from the sidewalk to the boardwalk.

I followed behind him, the sea breeze hit my face, "And tomorrow?"

I watched him and smiled, "Hmmm..well then may I join you?"

"Tell me when there's a bi one, then", I replied. I smiled feeling the sea breeze, the sand shifted between my toes, and then I caught sight of the sea, still and calm. The beach itself was quite calm, suprisingly there wasn't that many people

"Of course," he muttered, and plopped down on a log, opening his book again.
