  No, for some reason Jeeshan isn't using correct grammar. It's shocking, I know, usually they're so careful to make sure that everything they say is concise and easy to read.
  
  What they mean is, check John 1, the first book of John in the New Testament, verses 18-22. I don't really see why, since it's just the Church officials asking John who he is, but apparently that's what he wants people to see.
  
  I don't know why you want us to read Luke 14 either, since that's just a parable Jesus gave about not rejecting God. I suppose something about lines of poor, dirty and desperate people sparked a similarity to your sex life?
