The schools that attract more intelligent and talented kids?I was just wondering.Google didn't help me.
-
Names I've heard are vocational, trade, technical, institutes, and academy.
-
boarding School.
That's what they are most of the time.
But Teresa covered most of them. -
Maybe even a private school.
-
No, not private school. Private schools are pretty much just schools where you have to pay a ton of money to go to and most of the time where a uniform. I used to go to a private school. Don't really know what it is, maybe a boarding school.
-
I've heard them called charter schools before as well.
Private schools are similar but you have to pay to get into them, or get a scholarship. -
The school I'm talking about:
You have to pass a hard test to be accepted into the school
They keep you for extra hours
Exams are harder and there are many extra activities.
Isn't there a general name? -
I think those are academies.
-
Academic schools or just academics?
-
Whut.
-
So I assume they're just called academics.
-
Acadamies. Not academics, but acadamies.
-
Thank you.Got my answer.
-
Yeah, they're called acadamies, or the singular version is an acadamy
