Don't worry, I'm the same, I sometimes shake hands with my friends at school like three times in a day, and they ask me: 'Why do you keep shaking my hand?' and I tell them I don't remember saying hi to them.
So in a way, I can be worse. -

I don't know if I'd call myself mean- I prefer the terms "blunt", "honest", and "direct". I don't hold back who I really am.

I guess I'm the same way, if people me ask my opinion, I tell them what I really think, not just tell them a lie to make them happy.
