That's my life in a nutshell. I was in special education from the time I was 8 until I graduated high school, and for those nine years, with the exception of my social worker in high school, was a bunch of fascist crap, being told there was something wrong with me, being forced to be normal. On top of that, I was any easy target for bullying even before I had a one-on-one aide following me to every damn class. And nothing I've ever done has been good enough for Mom. So yeah, I totally get where you're coming from.

It's so terrible. It's really upsetting that people refuse to accept varying personalities in peers. Everyone is unique- no one the same. Why tease people when they simply make the world a more interesting place?
