The government is perfect... okay this has to be a joke. But I will say this: governments can lead their people to do questionable things even without the aid of microchips in the brain. The perfect example, as always, is Nazi Germany.

Microchips would work, yes, but as I continue to stress, microchips make people slaves to their government's desires, many of which are morally questionable.

@Ozzy: Nothing about what the Nazis did was good. They led an entire nation to not only become innocent bystanders to a genocide, but also led their citizens in many cases to be willing executioners themselves. And they did all this by creating a government in which citizens were to bow to the whims of their leader or face swift punishment.

Ozzy, dear, I know you like Nazism, but I can tell you much of my family suffered the consequences of that system of government. That's why I love what America represents, or at least used to represent.

But Nazism is all about the killing of 11 million people. It is one of the integral ideas expressed in Mein Kampf that Germans were a master race and all other races must bow to them, and the logical conclusion of that philosophy is to put the inferior races to death.

Last I checked, Nazism fixed Italy's and Germanys economies, and also got their land back.
