"yeah," I roll over and stare at the ceiling.

Climbs back in bed dragging blankets with me

"mind if I asked you a question?"

Yawns "What?"

"what made you change your mind?"

Looks at the ceiling "The truth or the lie?"

Shrugs deciding to tell the truth "Love."

"hmm?" did I just hear that right?

"Yes you heard right. Love" turns on side and pulls covers around me and closes eyes

I mull that over, "why?" I ask quietly.

I was already asleep

Not wanting to disturb her, I quietly get up and walk downstairs.

I looked calm and peacfull though my dreams were full of terrors

I flop down, on the couch again. And go to sleep.
