Two years ago on November 18 my mom was arrested for drunk driving. She court ordered to do 9 months in rehab. Tonight she received her two year sobriety coin. You guys may think "oh so what?" My moms addictions to drugs and alcohol affected and basically changed/ruined my brothers and mines life. My mom started using and drinking when she was 16. She's now almost 42 years old. This is the first time my mom has ever been sober. I just wanted to let you guys know that she may have done bad things to me, but she's my mama. I love her with all my heart. And i am very proud of her. Two years sober..

You have a right to post this. That's so...er, sweet of your mother to do that. I hope she'll get past it. Not many can do that.
