Soaping is like making any character you want, and roleplaying is using characters already made, for instance, say Link.

Exactly. Rp characters can be anything, but soap characters are more confined to the soap plot.

4 people, living ordinary lives, get into an accident, and end up getting powers.
I know, not much to go on, but it's a start. -
For example: I can't bring in my Task Force 115 to a soap with normal people.
