I bit my bottom lip nervously, oh crap I don't have an excuse for this one, "Um...I-I...erm..th-..no... um.." I said trying to think of an excuse

Matthew began to glare at her suspiciously. He stood up. "Who and what are you?"

"My name is Ever and I am a human, nothing else!" I said standing up and crossing my arms, "Your the fallen one, aren't you?" I asked suspiously

"Isn't that what they call you when you refuse to pick a side? "

Matthew was silent, studying this girl. How did she know so much? Not even mortal legends went into such detail as she did.

I stared back at him, suddenly realising my mistake of telling him so much...too much, more than a mortal should know

Matthew shrugged. "I don't know what you're talking about." he said nonchalantly.

I narrowed my eyes and took a step forward, "Yes you do, you know exactly what I'm talking about" I said thumping a finger on his chest

"And how do you think you know what you think I'm supposed to know?" Matthew asked coldly.

"Your wings are tense, tense wings show that you are lieing Matthew, trust me, I know these things" I said glaring at him

Matthew flapped his wings and sighed. He looked down. "I'll tell you, if you tell me."

I narrowed my eyes, "How do I know you won't try and kill me after I tell you?"

"I'm an angel. I don't kill people."

"Thats what all of you say..." I said sighing, I unzipped my leather jacket and opened my large iredescent wings. "I'm half"
