My heart beated faster and butterflies buzzed inside of my stomach, I placed my hand on the side of his cheek and kissed him back gently

A hand went to her back, tracing the place where her wings entered her back. He then pulled away and smiled brightly at her.

I smiled back, closing my eyes I sighed enjoying his gentle touch on that perfect part where my wings start

"Thank you." Matthew whispered.

"For what?" I whispered back a bit confused

"For staying here.. I thought you would've left before I got back this morning..."

I shook my head, "Of coarse I wouldn't leave...I don't have anywhere else to go..."

I laughed seeing him suprised, "Yeah I don't, mostly been staying in trees and sneaking into peoples houses"
