"Oh.." Matthew looked down.

"Yeah, so umm..explain?"

"Just stuff," he said quietly.

I laughed, understanding what he meant, I also have my own secret 'stuff', I smiled, "Oh, I understand, you have your stuff and I have mine"

He looked at her and raised an eyebrow. "What kind of stuff?"

I smiled knowingly, its nice to know something he doesn't. Oh I'm just a half-angel, you know the kind that everyone wants to kill. I thought inside my head. "Just stuff" I replied

He ended up leaning to far forward and fell off the mantel. He landed on his butt and sat there, wondering what kind of stuff a mortal would keep secret.

I laughed seeing him fall on the ground, I crossed y legs at sat across from him on the floor. "Everyone has their own stuff, mortal or angel" I said "Or a mix of the two" I mumbled softly to myself

He heard her mumble something to herself. "What?"

"Nothing" I said almost too quickly. "Tell me about your stuff" I said trying to change the subject in a hurry, he cannot find out my secret

Matthew shook his head. "It's nothing, really. Don't need to bother you with it."

"Its not a bother at all" I said with a kind smile, tilting my head to the side looking at him curiously. "I won't tell, pinky swear"

Matthew shook his head. "It's a big secret that I vowed to keep. It would be against my honor to tell you."

"Your a very loyal angel, strange...most angels seem so self-centered or so vain, staying on the right side" I sighed angrily, since I belonged to neither side most liked to hunt me down

"I know what you mean.." he said, then thought back to what she said. "Wait, how have you encountered so many angels?" he asked suspiciously.
