Sophia (one of my roomates) INSISTED that I go. So of course I didn't want a date but it's pretty much expected that if you go, you go with a date. Turns out, Michael, my BGF (Best Guy Friend) was having the same problem (didn't want a date but his roomies were making him go) so he asked me to go with him as his "date" but we agreed that we were really only going as friends. XP
