my mom's got a kindle fire (she won it as she came first in a quiz) but we cannot connect it to the internet. it says connected but there's a X next to the wifi sign. do you know what i should do?

Try X'ing out of the network your in now, then find the passcode to your wifi and try re-connecting. Thats usually what I do when its being stubborn

Same thing as a Kindle Fire, it downloads books, apps, other things. It is made by Barns 'N Nobal. Or whatever the company is. .-.

i'm on my laptop. it's quite new (maybe 3 or 4 months old). it's a SONY VAIO

Some kindle help: go to the settings and input your wifi password under wifi. Just like a phone.

i've tried that too, my father has even called the kindle guy, but nothing seemed to happen. my father thinks its a problem with the internet.
