fyi, I have promised myself to never love again, and to never trust anyone again. Nothing against you, sis, just . . . after what happened to my stepsister earlier . . . I can't . . . I don't want to allow myself to be hurt again. -
What happened?

I . . . I wrecked the car. My stepmom was drunk picking me and my stepsister (who had just started Jr. High) up from school. She already had my little brother with her and she was still drinking. I thought . . . I thought it would be safer if I drove us home even though I'm only 14. My older stepbrother is in college so he couldn't help us. So I tried to drive us home but we crashed and my stepsister . . . she . . . she died.
