Thanks for believing that, but if you were me you'd know I'm like this:
How do I word this? This is too much like someone else's. No one even bothers to look at this. No one would read this. This sucks. -
Really, everything is bound to be like something else, at least on the outside. There are at least seven other people worldwide that look like you. And really, so many things have been created that it's hard to find a pure, brand new idea.
What makes it different is what's in between the lines. -
My book idea. When I first posted it, Vik had his thread about the same time. It had about ten different people look at it. My thread had only about three people and they all told me it wouldn't work. Posted a bit of it and again only a few people commented and all they did was say my grammar was off.
I remember nix said it was like, "Thirteen Reasons Why" I've read that book now. My life is worse than Hannah's but somehow, I've kept myself alive. -

Still haven't read that book. I have one somewhat similar to the life you've described. It's an interesting book. -

Oh. Well, the months thing, I can understand. Then, Vik still was probably more popular among the older users than you were. It's natural that they'd look at one of their friend's threads instead of a user they still didn't know very well. And I'm sorry you didn't get feedback about content, but it was still nice for them to say something about your story.
