OK, so firts off, how do you feel right now? The only way you can write a good song is for you to acctualy FEEL the song. You can't write something you can't feel.

OK. Good. Now try to come up with some word that describe how you're feeling that rhyme. It doesn't matter if they all rhyme, or if they're in pairs that rhyme, just whatever as long as they all rhyme with at least one other word.

Hmm okay. Think of a tune for your song. Once you've done that, just write with the flow. It doesn't matter if it's not perfect, just write so that the lyrics match the music in your head. Don't worry about getting it perfect this time around.

Well of course it's a bit amateurish, you only get better by writing songs more. Ow here, try this. I want you to re-write that song. Try making it a little more . . . poetic. We'll keep re-writing it until you get a version of it you think just sounds right.
