Hell's lair is Hell. It would make a little more sense if it was The Devil's Lair because the Devil's lair would be Hell. And if it was the Devil's House, then it wouldn't be able to hold itself up because it would be really really old. :P.

But then again, it would be cool if you could do like some sort of flash-back's to when the Devil was living in the house and how he became the Devil. You know what I'm saying? Or am I making no sense at all? XD.

The Basement
Basements have that ominous, creepy feel. They seem siniste with leaky pipes and strange objects that seem to form faces in the dark. In this case, Hell would be the metaphorical basement. The basement is also a place where people throw old things that seem to have no use, or store things that they sit want other eyes to see. You can play around with creepiness, tone, and irony with this one. It could also refer to 'the basement' of the mind or human nature; the lowest you can stoop. -
