Dan glanced over at Phil. "I wonder how much that'd cost?" He was one hundred percent serious.

Phil looked over at him. "You're seriously considering this, Dan?"

Dan shrugged. "It would be fun, don't you think?"

"I guess it would be.."

"And it would be cool to have another hat that resembles a llama," he thought out loud. "But instead, I'll use the money I would put towards that to treat you to lunch." He smiled, slipping his hand into Phil's.

Phil grinned at his friend, now lover, and shook his head. "You don't have too."

He squeezed Phil's hand gently. "I know. I want to."

Phil smiled at him.

Dan grinned back at Phil. They reached where they had started, their apartment building. Dan slowed for a moment. "Mind if I change really quickly? I feel icky in these clothes."

"Go ahead."

"Thank you!" Dan smiled gratefully at Phil before walking into the building.

Phil smiled and followed Dan into the building.

Dan pressed the up button on the lift and waited for Phil before getting in.

Phil stepped into the lift. "And here I come into the deathtrap.."

"We haven't died yet though," Dan pointed out, winking as he pressed the button for their floor.
"Going up," the female cyborg voice said.
