I tried that, but it just comes back to the frozen screen. Can't even move the cursor either. .-.

Windows Vista, and well it happened suddenly, I was on Windows movie maker and clicked publish movie, but then the program said it wasn't responding so I did ctrl alt delete, but then the cursor wouldn't move.

know how to use Task Manager, to check to see what programs are running in the background?

if cursor starts to move, right click on task bar and select Task Manager -
oh, and said something that having Windows Vista running is half the problem
