I lead him outside the school and sit on a bench, I sigh and look at him, "Ok I'll tell you but you might want to sit down"

Seth sits next to her.

"I think I'll just shorten it, long story short, my home planet was going to be destroyed so I came back home to help fight and well...the leaders son...said he would not destroy my home or earth if he could umm...marry.......me" I look at Seth sadly, I take off my glove and reveal the ring, "I'm kinda...um...engaged"

Seth rubbed the back of his neck, unsure how to respond.

"I don't love him, I hate him, I was forced into doing it" I look at him nervously, I was so scared that he might be angry

"Well....."

I sigh and put my head in my hands, "I'm sorry"

"You did it to protect Earth."

"Not earth..I did it to protect you"

"He doesn't know about... Us, does he?"

"No..he doesn't know anything at all, he thinks your dead, if he knew anything he would-he would..." I crouch down and burst into tears

Seth puts his arm around her. "Hey, we'll figure something out."

"You don't understand h-he would.." I cry harder the thought of that happening to Seth hurt me
