Seth turned back to try and work things out. He came in and saw Alexia on the ground, a dagger in her hand. She was about to kill herself. "No!" Seth ran up and knocked away the dagger, grabbing Alexia and holding her tightly. "Damn you, what were you thinking?"

"I was thinking I didn't belong here! I don't belong anywhere! I'm useless!!"

"Stop it! You belong wherever those aliens came from. You're not useless, understand?"

" Yes, I am! I'm not going there! I'd rather die!!"

"I'm not going to let you die!" He held her tight.

"If I was gone you wouldn't see me anyway! It be like I was dead already!" I look into his eyes, I used to feel love and joy when I looked into them, but now all I feel is saddness and hatred at myself for being alive

Seth shook his head. "No.... We'll figure something out, okay? Maybe negotiate with them."

I shook my head, "They'd kill you, I'm not like them, they hate humans, they would hurt you" I pull away from him to reach for the dagger.

Seth swatted the dagger across the room. "I don't care, they won't hurt me if they think I can hurt you!"

I look at him with big eyes, "Do you still care about me?" I asked confused

"Of course I care about you, why do you think I'd stick my neck out to the aliens for you?"
