A very depressing silence. How I longed for him to say something, but I feared how my reaction would be.

I heard something in the bushes, and motioned for Napoleon to stop. I froze and listened.

I stopped and put my head up, also listening.

I aimed my gun. Ready for whatever was out there.

Whuts there?
My eye twitched. What lurked beneath the brush? -
An army man.
I slowly stepped closer to the bush. -
Ah.
I stood further back, not following closely. -
I pointed my gun directly at the bush.

I had my hand at the hilt of my sabre.

Just then, one of our men jumped out, hold a knife right to my chest. I stumbled back a bit.

I shook my head, stunned by the sight, a bit frozen to actually slash with my sword. But I held it at him, faintly.

I raised my hands. "Man, it's just me." I said, I talked to the guy a few times before, he was cool.
Can you play the guy? :$ -
Damn. Sure.
"Okay, okay. So... who's this dude?" He pointed at me. -
"Uh...a friend who got lost so I'm...leading him to help...the docks. We don't need him evolved in the war..." I lied.

"In that get up? Yeah, whatever dude." He laughed. "Need any help getting there?"
