Nice thread title.
So, I'm thinking, the plot be Napoleon somehow gets sent into our time? and he either has to fight a war in this time to get back. -

Yeah.
Over my opponet I stood, Sabre to neck about to strike. He pleaded me not to, but I stamped my foot into his chest. Just before I jabbed it into his neck, something happened. Something strange. -
I kissed my wife and 2 year old son goodbye. For I will not be seeing them for months again, even years. I was called to war, and i had no chose but to go. I hugged my family tight. "I love you." I whispered to my wife, she was crying.

I could not explain what happened, because I seemed to be torn apart molecularly... It was strange. Next I knew, I was in the strangest place, my blade to the ground.

"I love you too." She said, holding me and my son, Jason, tight. I kissed her lips and my Jason's forehead before letting them go. "Goodbye, my love." I told her before I jumped in the army cart and watched them become smaller and smaller, until they disappeared.

Such a strange place. It was emptiness. Nothing. Then It was back to standing over my opponet. In fright, I jabbed the blade into his neck.
