"Hello?" Neris called, hearing the footsteps stop.

'Hello!' Tawna called back, her voice wavering. Ever since the deaths of Sabern and Zelinna, she's been nothing but a terrified, depressed nervous wreck.

Aw, poor Tawna :(
Carefully, Neris made her way to her feet. She walked over to where the voice had come from, and smiled at the girls. -
Tawna still trembled all over, even though this girl looked very safe.
'Sorry, you just startled us.' Essence apologiesed. -
"Sorry, though I think you had the same effect on me. I thought I'd be alone this deep in the forest." Neris said.

'So did we.' Tawna nodded. Essence turned to the D.A.
'What's wrong?' she asked.
'Sorry, I'm just being a nervous wreck.' -
Neris blinked at Tawna, and smiled. "Well you now know there's nothing to be afraid of, so you can stop worrying."

Tawna smiled back. This girl seemed extremely trustworthy. But, she'd been wrong before. She thought the same thing about her boyfriend, Sabern.

"What are you two doing all the way here, anyway?" Neris asked.

'I was coming down here to train.' Essence explained. 'This place just helps me clear my head.'

"Really? Train for what?"

'I'm trying to become a Sorceress.'

"Well now, isn't that something special." Neris said, eyes brightening.

Essence smiled proudly.

"What about you?" Neris asked Tawna, "What's a fine Dark Angel suc as yourself doing in this part of the forest?"
