He decided on something and set down the menu.

I found something and tapped my fingers on the table.

He glanced over at her.

Is she sure nothing's wrong? he thought.

I forced a weak smile.

He smiled back then looked up as the server came.

"Hello, I'll be your server today." She said with a smile. "What can I get you?"

He ordered his meal and she took his menu.

As she walked away with our menus I looked at the people around us.

He looked down at the table.

I traced the patterns on the table with my finger.

He picked up his glass of water, taking a sip.

I tried to ignore the smell of blood. All around me.
