I shrugged. "Had the dream again, pretty good besides that."

He moved over to the couch. "Do you have it very often?"

"It was worse at the castle..." I bit my lip.

Not thinking about how she might react, he pulled her up into his arms. "I'm sorry about your mom, even though it was a while ago. I know how you feel."

I stiffened for a moment before wrapping my arms lightly around him. "You do?" I asked, surprised.

He nodded.

I pulled away to look at him.

"What?" he asked, slightly confused.

I shook my head. "Nothing." I said with a slight smile.

He frowned a bit. I don't want to kill her...

I pulled away fully and got up. "Want some coffee?" I asked.

"Sure." He stood up, stretching.

I nodded and walked into the kitchen, turning on the coffee maker.

He walked over to the window and looked outside.

I made to cups of coffee and handed one to him. "Here." I said.
