He stood up. "I'll be right back." He headed in the direction of the restrooms.

"K" I said, not really paying attention.

He noticed a pay phone outside the bar as he walked past to use the restroom. It started ringing. Confused, he picked it up. It was the same person. How are they finding me?
"Holmes, hurry up. If you don't finish the job, we'll send someone else to finish it for you!" He sounded angry.
Tyler stood there for a moment, saying nothing. Finally he spoke into the phone. "No."
The man's voice began to grow louder. "When you get back, you'll regret not killing that bloodsucker first chance you got!"
Tyler smiled, remaining calm. "I'm not coming back." With that, he hung up the phone. He returned to the table and sat down. He had an idea. -
I looked up at him. "What are you all smiley about?" I asked confused.

"What? Nothing," he answered.

"Okay..." I said as the server came back with our orders.
"Will that be all?" She asked.
"Yes." I replied. -
He watched the two of them, not planning to speak.

She walked away. I slowly ate my food, not really that hungry.

He began to eat, slightly hungry.

I played with my fork a bit.

He continued to eat.
(BRB maybe.) -
I glanced up at him.

"Hm?" He looked at her.

I shook my head. "Nothing." I said quietly.

"You sure?"
