"What's wrong slayer?" I smirked. "worried that I drank people?"

"That you killed four people." He frowned. "And they'd still be alive if I had killed you yesterday."

"But," I said. "you didn't. Think of it as..." I pondered. "Think of it as humans eating animals. It's all for survival."

He sighed. She was correct. Partially. "Most of the animals humans eat were raised for that purpose. You kill people who have purposes other than to be your next meal."

"Okay, what about the fact that humans kill the planet? More humans are killed by other humans then vampires you know. And what about animals they hunt for fun? You don't see vampires hunting humans for fun." I pointed out.

"I've seen some hunting humans for fun."

"Okay, so some vampires from other clans do. But we don't."

"Well then, princess, that's good. Maybe your clan is better than the others. Maybe you should let me out so I can go slay the vampires from those clans instead of sitting around here waiting for your buddies to come and hurt me again."
