also i was debating on some new shoes, my biggest fear is spending more money than i need but i need new shoes anyway since my current shoes are on the brink of oblivion
-
these were the shoes i loved but i misread the labels at first and thought they were skate shoes when they’re just regular old skool which got me SUPER sad because they’re gorgeous dawg😭😭😭💔💔 and i don’t really use vans for everyday wear since they’re uncomfortable unless they have an athletic use
i love converse and chucks DO last a little bit, but i was also wanting to head out of my range and try something different just to push myself a bit -
i know jordans are okay too but it’s hard to find them on clearance or on sale when they’re high demand shoes
-
choices choices
-
f--- my muscles are sore i hate resting because i feel unproductive but i lowkey need to😭😭
-
i just been chilling but i think walking and stretching is fine, i know steam speeds recovery so i been putting hot water on my legs and bruises
-
im de crippled i can walk and run again yay:)
-
goodness golly gracious
-
i wish time could be frozen
time is kinda crazy😭😭 -
it’s so embarrassing being asked what i can do with my skateboard from a skate pro or someone like that and i can really only do consistent stationary and inconsistent moving ollies dawg😭 im super wobbly too but ive been focusing a lot on balance and getting comfortable with moving kickturns and tic tacs instead of stationary ones especially
-
i have no clue how some beginners can pop out kickflips after their first week ive broken my ankles just thinking about it
ive been less than two weeks but honestly i have been a bit proud of the progress ive made, i thought i wouldn’t be getting into ollies for another month and i had full expectations to focus on foundation training and fall on concrete a million times -
i DID do the falling but the training has been mixed, on my 3rd day i tried my first ollie and fell HARD on my side and regretted it😭😭 i tried again a lot of times and i could do baby ollies but i think my ollies are a lot cleaner and higher now, i feel very comfortable doing them and it’s why ive been getting into practicing rolling ones
-
i been trying to keep it slow though, at first it was because i was cautious of my recovery days but miraculously i haven’t fallen in 5 or so days so either im doing something right or something very wrong and i need to push myself more
-
i don’t really know what to practice after ollies and kickturns and pumping though😭😭 i think most people get straight into kickflips after they can do ollies confidently over curbs and all that jazz, and im definitely not confident yet so it’s just all repetition until insanity, but i guess ill see if im over my head enough to try a kickflip and eat concrete when i get more confident with ollies over obstacles and less wobbly on the board with tricks
-
ive really taken a liking to it though, at first i was very excited and for some reason thought id lose interest quickly but its been very fun especially when you see progress so quick
