man i’m just so excited to be an adult. i can understand people who want to be kids again, and i’ve thought the same thing sometimes, but being an adult and having independence and liberties to go wherever you’d like, when you’d like, as long as you’re financially secure, is so much more appealing than being overshadowed by people who are adults because you’re not developed enough to participate in any of their conversations

and also literally all of my friends are in their early 20s💔💔 it would be very nice

i’ve been trying and struggling to study constructive anatomy, it made me realize i’ve just been thinking in surface anatomy when drawing and so now i’m having to charge head on at it with a hammer instead of walking with it which i SHOULD have done when i STARTED learning

the joys of learning things i should have known

ive gotten into social studies again, i forgot how simple but difficult to incorporate a lot of it was

dude i was half awake for like an hour and my brain was thinking of words I’ve never even heard and it explained it perfectly to me but when i was fully awake I literally couldn’t remember any of it and i realized it was all just gibberish
it was talking about metaphysical science, synaptic plasticity, the nervous system, consciousness, and the optic system even though an optic system doesnt even exist and it’s just an informal term for the visual system💔💔 these are all words I’ve heard but my brain explained them “PERFECTLY” to me when i was half dreaming but im 90% sure all of it was just gibberish and a lot of it was made up except for the vocabulary LOL😭😭 -
whoops i said “words I’ve never even heard” I have heard these words, that was a buffering moment, the only word I’ve never heard here was “optic system” because it doesn’t actually exist
i think it was called the visual system but i just looked it up and it’s also called the optical system -
Morning, Espie

and wow now im tired but hey more to be curious about
i was just thinking about half of these things last night so it does make sense since i was probably still 40% dreaming and the language part of my brain was probably turned on but not the critical thinking part of it which is why i was just staring at the ceiling confused at all this jargon and going “yeah… yeah, that makes sense” -
i was ALSO making up random vocab terms that for some reason made complete sense to me in the most awe-inspiring way but when i woke up it was one of those great flop moments😭😭💔
my brain kept rambling something about the parts of the brain with the prefrontal cortex and the cerebral and all that jazz but it was combing NONSENSE
like “yeah… yeah… behold, the cerebral… sponge… cortex… conduction… unit” and in the moment i felt like i was listening to the greatest teacher ever. “my GOSH, im a prodigy!”
and then i wake up and i realize the kings staff i’d been using was actually a stick
this was honestly the funniest way i could have woken up LOL😭😭 i felt lectured but the great grandiose awe inspiring lecture i thought i was listening to DIDN'T EXIST! -
oh super late reply so sorry i was rambling!!! good morning eri😄😄!!
-
it’s time to wake up for real now and ditch the scrambled jargon

science is so extremely interesting and it makes me sad that some people don’t see just how amazingly epic it is to understand the why and how behind things😭😭 we’re made of cells! how do these cells function? WHY do they function how they do? what’s the purpose? what’s in a black hole? why? what causes supernovas? what led to evolution? the changes and adaptations in plants and animals? why does the earth go through cycling periods? why is earth the only planet to inhabit life? why didn’t other life forms evolve to form on other planets? why are humans so smart? what are neurons? how do they differ from cells? all of this is SO interesting and so much more than just boring textbook reading. these are real fascinations that are just incredible and so WEIRD and AMAZING!

i am 1000% becoming a teacher. i want to show people the same things that fascinated me in the ways that can show them just how fascinating it all really is, not just reciting textbooks. i want to give them the foundations for curiosity and learning and know they can do something very special with it
