I heard once that one of the upperclassmen made a slideshow for history disproving Helen Keller, and it was so stupid, like along the lines of "If Helen Keller was deaf and blind, how did she fly a plane over the ocean?" Helen Keller and Amelia Earhart are two different people.

she could speak because of so many reasons. She wasn't BORN deaf, she already had the rudementary understanding of how to form sounds, and was taught by her teacher what different vibrations and facial movements could create what words
The people I've heard always go "well if she was deaf and blind how could she write" like bro she read and wrote using braile. She had braile booms and a braile typewriter. bsfr how do you have the audacity to try and disprove a whole human beings life and achievements, it's so f---ing dumb -
anyways onto another topic one of my old school friends is a freaking internet sensation somehow???
He's literally just a high schooler with adhd doing a bunch of adhd hacks and fun instagram reels and he has two hundred thousand followers on insta alone-
it's not much for a genuine internet sensation, but for a random kid from nowheresville, it's pretty cool to see his reels have millions of views. He has his own merch and podcasts and shi and it's so cool to witness as a guy who knows him (even if I'm a half-friend at best lol)
