honestly gen alpha kids are really chill when you actually talk to them, they just get a bad rep for what they watch on the internet

they were so polite and nice, i loved getting to know them

and the teacher i job shadowed was my 5th grade teacher. I was in her first year classroom, so she loves to praise and make fun of my class (especially me because i was both her best and worst student)
she likes to make fun of me for being an underachiever when I "want to be", like I'll do anything if i means i pass a class, but once i'm guaranteed an 80% then idgaf about doing anything else for the class (unless it's AP, biology or theater lol) -
she'll especially make fun of me with english, because i was one of the only students in the SCHOOL to get 100% on the state writing test (the average was like 60%), but im SO LAZY about english now that i'm expected to consistently improve rather than just do a good job, because i cant be bothered to put effort into a writing/english project unless i genuinely care about what it's about
