We have districts in literally a month.
Two of the people don't know one of the songs, and it's one that we've only done sectionals on, we haven't done it as a group yet.
The other one we got about two weeks ago.
We basically have no teacher.
Nobody wants to practice.
This thing is in a month and these are hard songs. -
What songs are they? What they called?
-
The problem isn't the songs. It's the fact that no one's willing to work.
-
Tak, take.
Will it be a one-woman-show, then?
Gosh, I sure hope not. -

I completely understand. My choir was the exact same way.
Basically, since choir was an "easy A," councillors would put all the problem kids in choir to help their graduation and so our choir had about 100 people in it and only about 20% of them were decent singers.
As you can imagine, when you put a hundred problematic kids in a choir together the director stops caring very quickly. He pretty much did the bare minimum to make us performance ready so he didn't look like an idiom during concerts, but other than that we sounded like popcorn.
Everyone begged for an honor choir. We had the skill for it. I did all the honor events with twenty other serious singers and we could've easily just made another class for advanced choir with those students. It was so unfair to those of us who were serious about practicing to put up with all the kids who just didn't care and didn't want to be there. -
