I was texting them hours ago and they said "I'll miss you" and I asked them where they were going and they said to not ask about it and then they didn't respond.

I told them that you're worried and they asked how I knew and why. So I told them and they said "Oh.". So it seems they're alive, which is good news. At least take comfort in that.
