I've seen a lot of females wear dresses but you can just wear like jeans/dress pants and a blouse if you really wanted to.

I've always worn black. Whether it's just a simple black dress, or a black skirt with like a dark colored shirt and maybe a black cardigan if it's cold.

I've never actually been to a funeral but I would probably wear white shirt and tie, and jeans
