Blue Sky made "Rio" (plus the sequel), and "Epic". "Rio" is questionable, while "Epic" is slightly better, but also of questionable value.

On a minor note, I saw Madagascar 1 and 2 in theaters. Madagascar 3 only on television. In my opinion, the first and second ones are my faves. The third, not so keen...

SG: I never saw the third one yet, but I think that 2 was pretty much the perfect sequel to the original, what about 3 didn't you like?

Hm. The beginning scene I didn't like. The second film ended on a good note. Alex was beginning to settle in Africa, and he was satisfied about it. In the third film, he is still desperate to return to New York. What the hell. It totally negated everything from the second film.

Out of many DreamWorks sequels, "Shrek 2" is a masterpiece. "Kung Fu Panda 2" is damn cool, too. It's also pretty dark unlike its lighthearted predecessor.

The film is awesome, and its the only time where you only witness Shrek as a human. He's handsome as one, too. Fairy Godmother is the best villain, period.
