Seriously, In my opinion I certainly didn't deserve that punishment, at least 50 seconds would have been fine, but 120, no way.

If I was you, I wouldn't punish someone so harshly for a petty little thing, I would just give them a warning, or maybe put post limit up to 50 seconds, certainly not 120.
