This is according to someone else, of course, but I wouldn't be surprised if they actually said that. I doubt it's a lie.

Just because you're transgender does not mean that there's something wrong with you. There's nothing wrong with you. Yeah, you may have a "mental disorder" that I may not know about, but there's still nothing wrong. People can label you with a bunch of disorders, but it doesn't make you any different.

No matter what you think, they still love you. You need them. Yeah, you can distance yourself. Explain to them how you feel.
