for one, these kind of things are easily expected, lowering down the scare factor. if you can predict it, its not going to be as scary. this takes down the 'sudden' element jumpscares use to a low level, thus basically eliminating any actual fright once the 'jumpscare' occurs since you already knew it was coming and have most likely prepared yourself mentally for it.
another way is finding amusing things about the scary thing. for example, watch down how i find all the funny things about this gif which is most likely meant to be scary:
1. Lol look at this dumb b----, the thinks shes spiderman.
2. her face is just all like "Woah hes got a sweet ass"
3. how the hell is she hanging on the wall like that? XD
4. dayum does she have some pretty good cleavage
5. girl, you have some seriously nasty hair. do rats nest on yo head?
people like Projared and Onision use these to strengthen their balls and take the 'scare' away from things meant to be scary. its quite simple, really. -
