it was ok at first but I'm uncomfortable with it and they expect me to say it back and I'm like

No just kidding. If you honestly don't like him or whatever, just tell him. Let him down easy. If he doesn't listen, tell him again. After that if he keeps bothering you just block him or ignore him because thats borderline stalker. -

Just tell him that you're sorry, that you don't feel the same. If he truly likes you or "loves" you he should understand and stop saying it, even if his pride is wounded.
