Not really, I'm almost a year old and on even the harshest scale that means I'm pretty much not a newb anymore, I'm relatively mature especially compared to the little s--- I used to be and I'm almost a year old, (only 9 days away, only 2 days over a week). Those are the two standard newbie-ranking methods .
Ha, I've seen older users call newer ones newbs on many occasions.
And who I'm referring to are the flood of new users just in the last month, it's freaking insane. -

Yeah. We do normally associate newer users with traits like ignorance, stubbornness, dramatics, etc. Mostly because a lot of them do fit in one or more of those traits. I can say that we do judge them or generalize them too often than we should, but I understand why. I myself don't really discriminate them too often, rather I sometimes help them more than the initial because I was such a little booger so long ago. It would be hypocritical of me not to.
And as for your response, Alex, she is mature. She's a lovely young girl. Very nice too. But it's a little weird for her to call you a newbie when she has been here for an even less amount of time. So. -
Not saying all of them are annoying or anything. There are newbies like Kalafina or Hiccstrid who are quite pleasant.
