My dad would fall apart if he found out. I'd be shunned by everyone else. My mother would call me a fake and wouldn't believe me. The only one who wouldn't freak out is maybe my cousin Amanda, but I don't even see her but once a year, and she's an adult. Sigh. -
You're just going to have to make it through, sadly. America's been making great strides in the past couple years, but we're just not there yet. But have you heard of Leelah's(? not sure if that's the spelling) law?
I know how you feel, though. I know it doesn't mean much, but there's support groups and stuff for transgendered teens who have to deal with unaccepting families. Mine, for instance, is a homophobic, racist, sexist and transphobic family, that wont even let me cut my hair. -

I think it's freaking great, and a huge step forward.
But I want teens of a certain age to at least be able to make choices for themselves.
