Because I've made everyone think I'm a suicidal freak who everyone needs to worry about if I leave for more than three days cause hell, maybe he walked off the deep end and finally had the guts to end his life.

It's not worth it. Just don't keep telling him that he's not worthless when he keeps insisting that he is, you're not going to win. He's going to think whatever he's going to think and I doubt that you're going to change that. Just leave him alone.
